Finca 1810 - 1

Concluding our Colombia showcase , Ana Lucía Urbano’s Finca 1810 is the platonic ideal of specialty coffee with its refined mouthfeel and fruits-of-the-forest bouquet. The processing revolution has no greater stronghold than Colombia’s southern Huila province. Creative adaptations like infusions and co-ferments enable a panoply of flavours from one harvest. Here, we celebrate the foundation of Huila’s success: the classic terroir is delicious. The ‘simple’ washed Caturra variety from Pitalito has been a pillar for Square Mile from day one, from our Red Brick blend to limited releases. This lot was made with a meticulously executed version of the area’s typical washed process. Titled after Colombia’s year of independence, the farm’s name fits Ana Lucía’s role as its sole active manager and her vehement dedication to chemical-free agriculture. Finca 1810 will have you falling in love with Colombian coffee all over again.
